About the Workshop:

In this 90-minute workshop, we invite you to unwind and surrender to the soothing rhythms of gentle movement and celestial sounds. Led by Elizabeth Sorensen, a certified yoga teacher and sound healer, this immersive experience is designed to nourish your body, calm your mind, and restore your spirit.

 

What to Expect:

  • Restorative Yoga: Begin your journey with a series of restorative yoga postures carefully curated to release tension, promote deep relaxation, and create space for inner peace. Supported by props and blankets, each posture invites you to surrender fully into a state of profound rest and renewal.
  • Sound Bath Meditation: Immerse yourself in a symphony of healing vibrations as Elizabeth guides you through a transformative sound bath meditation. Enveloped by the ethereal tones of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other sacred instruments, allow yourself to be carried away on a journey of inner exploration and profound serenity.

What to Bring:  We'll have some items onsite, but feel free to bring additional items if you'd like so you can be as comfortable as possible

A yoga mat or cushion to lay on

Pillow/bolster (maybe 2-one for your head & another under your knees?)

Light Blanket

Eye Mask (optional)

Dr. Jess Blaisdell
Jess has a passion for helping mom's and those with back, hip, or pelvic pain and/or dysfunction live a pain-free, functional and active life.  She also specializes in treating running related injuries and issues (including running with prolapse, leaking, etc).  She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, and also a Pelvic Floor therapist. She loves spending time with her husband and two children, family and friends, drinking too much coffee, running, and adventuring outdoors.
